Saundra Davis is Teradata’s chief human resource officer, responsible for the company’s talent strategies and programs. In this role she leads a global team of human resource professionals responsible for recruiting, compensation, benefits, equity programs, engagement and retention, and employee relations. She is also a member of the Teradata leadership team reporting to Mike Koehler, chief executive officer of Teradata.
Davis began her professional career with NCR as a financial specialist in the corporate controller’s organization. She transitioned to the human resources organization in 1988 and has experience in the areas of compensation, workforce planning, staffing, mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing and global offshoring. During her tenure with NCR, Davis held human resources leadership roles in several divisions including the Americas customer services division, the Systemedia division, and corporate infrastructure.
Davis became the human resources vice president for the Teradata business unit in December 2003 and played an integral part in the human capital transition and the development of the going-forward Teradata global human resources model when Teradata separated from NCR in 2007.
Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an accounting focus from Wittenberg University and also holds a master of science in administration from Central Michigan University.
