Eric Joulié is Vice President of Western Europe, Southern Europe and Middle East Africa. Eric is responsible of the development of the region and all sales associated to Teradata Portfolio (products, solutions, professional services and customer services). His responsibilities are to cover the P&L of his region and to drive a sustainable growth within his area. In his current role, Eric is a member of the Teradata International leadership team reporting to Hermann Wimmer, co-president of Teradata and head of Data & Analytics division.

Before this assignment, Eric Joulié had several management positions including President of Teradata France, Vice-President of Western Europe, Vice-President Southern Europe. Eric Joulié and his team had contributed to Teradata’s extraordinary success in the region. He developed new markets and industries to ensure growth across the region.
  
Eric has more than 28 years of experience in sales, development of business, country responsibilities and senior management in the high-tech industry. Known as a thought leader, Joulié is able to drive his team towards high level performance standards and improved business results. Eric has a deep industry and business expertise as well as a broad knowledge of IT marketplace. 

Previously, Eric was the Country Manager of France, where he had overall responsibilities of the local P&L, development of the business as well as the local strategy definition. Under his leadership, Teradata France business grew over years within a double digit range. Under his guidance, France has emerged as one of the top three markets for Teradata EMEA with the signature of key global accounts. Prior to leading Teradata France, Eric held different senior positions in various companies of the high-tech and the Telecom markets.

Eric Joulié (INSEAD, AMP) holds an MBA in Marketing (IAE Aix en Provence) and a Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Paris II Assas.
