Christine was a Principal Business Consultant in the Teradata Solutions Group providing business consulting support for banking, telecommunications and government customers. She retired in 2011 with over 35 years combined experience in the information technology industry, in both public and private sectors, with a strong technical background.
Prior to joining Teradata in 2001, Christine was CEO of Access Online, where she managed a company restructure focused on long term viability which resulted in ceasing a number of business activities and building a culture more attuned to a self-reliant entity. Her previous CIO experience included Director of Information Services and Deputy Principal at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and General Manager of the Parliamentary Information Systems Office, Parliament House Canberra.
As an executive manager, Christine's interests focused strongly on strategic planning, policy development and change management, including the impact of IT on organisations and the alignment of IT to business requirements. Her technical expertise is focused strongly in project management and analytical and investigatory work, particularly in relation to developing IT solutions strategies and related policies for organisations.
