Teradata Seeks Technology Talent at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing

Recruiting strong female candidates for experienced, new graduate and internship roles at Teradata
To encourage women to advance their analytic data careers at Teradata (NYSE: TDC) in enterprise data warehousing, business applications, or big data analytics, Teradata will be a gold sponsor for the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, October 3 to 6, in Baltimore.

Teradata employees in professional services and senior engineering roles, as well as in human resources, will be on site throughout the three-day event to take part in the development, interviewing and networking opportunities for female technical employees. Women attending the event should stop by Booth #1131 to learn more about Teradata and the career opportunities available.
“Teradata people are innovation focused. They are energized by collaborating and imagining future capabilities for our customers,” said Scott Gnau, president, Teradata Labs. “Our engineers and programmers get to test theories and great ideas – while delving into the power of big data. They’re a part of the creative fuel that makes our lab the innovation engine for Teradata.”
This year’s theme, “Are We There Yet?” recognizes that there are concrete goals in the areas of technology innovation and business leadership women still strive to achieve. These areas will be explored through a series of conference sessions.
Named for Rear Admiral Grace Hopper, a mathematician who played an important role in the early development of computer science, the 12th Annual Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is a program of the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. It is co-presented with the Association for Computing Machinery. For more information, go to www.gracehopper.org.
