Travelzoo Germany Launches Premium Lead Generation Campaign with Teradata

Travel and leisure expert turns to Teradata Interactive for data-driven marketing services
(from Teradata Connect 2014) – Teradata Corporation (NYSE: TDC), the analytic data platforms, marketing applications and services company, today announced it has expanded its integrated marketing services relationship with Travelzoo®, the global internet media firm based in New York with 25 offices worldwide, including London and Munich.

Building on the quality and success of data-driven marketing campaigns with which Teradata has assisted Travelzoo in the past, under the expanded relationship Travelzoo will now increase the volume of its lead-generation and app-download campaigns targeting premium prospects using the digital interactive services of Teradata.
With 27 million subscribers in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, Travelzoo publishes offers from more than 2,000 travel, leisure and local business providers. The company also provides consumers with the neutral price-comparison services of Fly.com, an all-in-one flight search engine that is vendor-independent.
For this project Teradata will take on media planning, media buying and creation of marketing material. The aim is to generate highly targeted leads, which can be used over the long term for marketing campaigns comprising elements such as weekly newsletters or direct sales activities. A key benefit to Travelzoo will be that campaign results can be steadily analyzed, so that their marketing investment can be continuously optimized.
