Teradata Positioned in “Leaders” Quadrant of Gartner Magic Quadrant for MultiChannel Campaign Management for 9th Consecutive Year
Company’s Integrated Marketing Cloud portfolio delivers data-driven marketing solutions that help companies use data to create value
Teradata Corporation (NYSE:TDC), the analytic data platforms, marketing applications and services company, today announced its positioning in the “Leaders” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for MultiChannel Campaign Management” (MCCM) report by industry analyst firm Gartner Inc. The report was written by Adam Sarner, Jennifer Beck and Julie Hopkins, research directors at Gartner, and was published May 21, 2014.
Gartner Magic Quadrants evaluate category vendors on their “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision.” Teradata has been positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant of the MCCM report every year since the study began in 2006. The company believes its placement reflects the unique ability, through the Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud, to deliver data-driven marketing solutions that help companies continually increase the value of their data and customer relationships to drive business growth. In addition to the strength of its Customer Interaction Manager solution for Campaign Management, the Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud brings together Teradata’s Marketing Operations, Digital Messaging, analytics and data warehousing capabilities that not only help companies to improve their marketing performance, but to transform themselves into truly data-driven businesses.
According to the Gartner report, “Leaders consistently do considerably better in overall campaign management performance for basic and advanced campaigns, as well as for integration with digital marketing. They have high market visibility, high market penetration, strong market momentum and a strategic vision for growing the campaign management business.”
“Teradata Integrated Marketing Cloud customers running Teradata’s Campaign Management and Digital Marketing applications can literally know more about their customers’ interests and preferences, and do more with those insights to drive top-line growth,” said Teradata’s Lisa Arthur, chief marketing officer, Marketing Applications. “As we execute on our vision for helping the world’s leading brands evolve into data-driven businesses, our strategy is validated daily by the thousands of companies who trust Teradata to help them strengthen customer relationships by using data more productively.”
